Ignacio L. Coviella, MD, PhD (Director of WellTech Innovation): Ignacio is a neuroscientist and computer programmer with over 30 years experience in the areas of neuronal development and regeneration, neurotransmitter specification, signal transduction mechanisms, and models of neurodegenerative disorders. For example, he is the lead author of a Science magazine report showing that bone morphogenesis protein-9 is a differentiating factor for basal forebrain cholinergic neurons, which are linked to memory and cognition, and are significantly lost in the brains of patients suffering from Alzheimer’s disease. Ignacio is also experienced with software development, biostatistics, big data, and statistical and machine learning.

Michael Tompkins, RN (Wellness Specialist): Tompkins is a twenty-year veteran of the luxury hospitality and wellness industry, who began his career as a Registered Nurse and transitioned to hospitality with the celebrated destination spa brand Canyon Ranch. During his tenure at Canyon Ranch he held positions of Nursing Director, Director of Health and Healing, Associate Managing Director, and Corporate Director of Programs contributing to the company’s overall global recognition for wellness.

Roman Ricci (Business Development  Operations and Procurement):  Roman  joined the team in May of 2015 – new to the Natural Health industry he has been actively surveying the ever changing landscape of the industry while aiding in business development, day to day operations, and procurement.
